Applications are invited through online for the Social Security Assistant posts in EPFO :

• Social Security Assistants 

1. No Of Posts : 1867 regular posts + 76 sports quota posts distributed state wise
2. Pay Scale : Rs. 5200-20200 grad pay Rs.2400/-
3. Age : 18 to 27 years as on 09/03/2012 [Age relaxation as per GoI rules] 
4. Educational Qualifications :

• (a) Degree of a recognized University or equivalent. 
• (b) Possessing a speed of at least 5000 Key depressions per hour for Data Entry Work,  
•  Desirable: Should possess a Computer Training Certificate from a recognized institute.

Selection Process : The Recruitment process will have two stages:

(i) Written examination on 15/04/2012 at various test centers across the country (multiple choice objective type – English language, test of reasoning, numerical ability, office work aptitude). 

(ii) Skill test to assess speed and accuracy for Data Entry Work. Minimum requirement is 5000 key depressions per hour.

Application Fee : Rs. 315/- (Rs. 90/- for SC/ST/PH candidates) to be deposited in any branch of State Bank of India through a fee payment Challan from 13/02/2012 to 08/03/2012 to be produce at the time of Written Test only.
